Join Anita Gupta and Rose-Anne Misajon for a one day workshop to learn to work in a safer and more helpful way with people from Culturally and Racially Marginalised (CARM) communities. This workshop will be interactive and will work through the following topics:

• Building awareness of the impact of identity, marginalisation, power and culture

• Incorporating cultural, social and political factors into formulations

• Considering power and difference in the therapeutic relationship

• Interventions that are affirming

• Systemic interventions and advocacy

This is an original model but will draw on existing bodies of knowledge including intersectional feminism, relational models of the self, and Liberation Psychology.
