BIPoC Practitioner Group Supervision
Time: Monday evenings 7 - 8:15pm
Dates: Five sessions held on the first Monday of each month (with some variation - see below).
Group 1 runs from 2 March to 6 July 2026. Group 2 runs from 3 August to 7 December 2026.
Venue: Live online
Cost: $300 if paying before 9 February 2026; $325 if enrolling later. Please contact me for concession rates if needed.
This case based supervision group provides an opportunity to delve into case material with a group of fellow BIPoC practitioners. With one case per session, we will have time to consider what the case material evokes and use that information in building our understandings / formulations and considering therapeutic intervention approaches. There will also be space to consider issues that arise when contenting with mainstream systems, for both practitioners and clients.
This will be a small group with a maximum of eight participants and I will be facilitating discussion and drawing on the wisdom of the group throughout. Please note that this will not be a space for considering diagnosis or risk assessment. My role is not to provide an “expert opinion”, but instead to create a safe enough, reflective space that encourages open dialogue and discussion. My background in psychoanalytic psychotherapy will colour my approach, and I expect that we will consider relational, social, cultural and political dimensions of scenarios we discuss.
